Acupuncture

What is acupuncture?

Akupunktur is a 5000 year old Chinese healing method. The old Chinese found out that health is maintained by an energy flowing through 14 specific channels (meridians) in the body. On the meridians there are some points and by affecting these acupuncture points with pressure, laser vacuum or needle stitching, you can restore the balance of the body and thereby cure a lot of everyday disorders. Treatment with very small, thin needles is in most cases the best method.

Numerous scientific studies from China as well as from the rest of the world show:

  1. Acupuncture has a profound effect on the body..

  2. Multiple disorders may be beneficial with acupuncture, and certain diseases can be completely cured.

  3. Acupunctur is the alternative treatment form, which is best scientifically studied. Modern researchers have found that acupuncture affects the nervous system, blood circulation and the inner (endocrine) glands

Acupunctur can affect this hormonal system, and the effect is only through the above autonomous or independent nervous system. Special effects of adrenal glands are a very important part of acupuncture treatment, as acupuncture can prepare the release in the body of the major adrenal glands, especially cortisone. This cortisone has a wide range of functions and players, including an important role in acupuncture treatment for conditions such as asthma, allergies, and inflammatory states of various kinds. Acupuncture affects these adrenal cortex hormones, releasing the amount necessary. This way, the negative effects associated with the same type of substance when administered to the body externally, such as a tablet or injection in the form of prednisone, prednisolone, cortisone, etc., are avoided.

The body as a computer

You can compare needles in the body during acupuncture treatment by pressing a new program on the computer. Once the needle is set correctly, the program can be read by the brain and spinal cord, and the body can now use the new program in such a way that it can balance.

Where does Acupuncture work?

Acupuncture primarily has a significant analgesic effect. In some foreign hospitals, acupuncture is also used as an anesthetic during surgery or childbirth. Certain dentists utilize acupuncture as a pain reliever during dental treatments. It is known that the analgesic effect is partly related to what is called the body's own morphine system.

During acupuncture treatment, a hormone substance, known as endorphins, is released. These endorphins are the body's own morphine. Endorphins have the positive properties of morphine, such as being pain-relieving and calming, but they do not carry the unfortunate side effects that morphine may have. Additionally, endorphins are one reason why acupuncture is particularly suitable for managing tobacco consumption.
